Butterman Time Travel Book Review and Giveaway!

So, this is my first time ever really ‘hosting’ an author from a book promoter. (Candace over at CBB. She’s phenom and legit. I plan on using her myself.) But I was pretty excited about getting this book for free to try out, so I was willing to give this a shot.

(By the way: A Kind Voice, a blogtalkradio website, interviewed me for a BookLove segment coming up Wednesday at 7pm. See it here if you’re interested in hearing my voice and opinion on my favorite book A Great and Terrible Beauty, pre-narly sinus infection. Because why wouldn’t you be?)

Welcome to my tour stop for Butterman (Time) Travel, Inc by PK Hrezo. This is a New Adult Time Travel Adventure Romance and the tour runs Feb. 10-21 with reviews, author interviews and a few guest posts and top tens.  It also includes a great giveaway.  Be sure to stop by the tour page for all the additional information and list of tour stops.

Also, for the sake of those who have read, or want to read, or will read the book, let me summarize it like this: it’s a great read. I’m not all that into time travel, it makes me eyes want to cross just thinking about it, but I didn’t have too much difficulty with this one. What I loved about the book was mostly the main character, who had an eclectic, pinky, self-aware feel that I liked. Also, the story oozes originality. There are a few ruffles but nothing major. Going into great depth here may give away some spoilers, so see my Amazon review if you have any questions. Four stars overall, guys. Four stars.

Heres an author interview that may or may not make you giggle.

Me: Time travel ten years into the future for me. Now, what is the likelihood that Google, WalMart and McDonalds are the world superpowers?

PK Hrezo: Actually, it’s Disney and Wal-Mart that own American and the government. Google will be THE provider for all internet access, with a paid subscription, of course. (Katie says: I KNEW IT.)

Me: Tell me about the benefits of being an author in ten words or less.

PK Hrezo: Unlimited access to my imagination.

Me: Tell me about the downsides to being an author in ten words or less.

PK Hrezo: Secretary spread. Coffee Stains. Scattered-brain.

I like this girl . . .
